Altair x reader
"Oh Altair..." She sighed as she hid from sight behind one of the many bookshelves of the library.
"If only you knew..."
A man was what he was, he would not fall so easily. As for her, she was just an underling, a friend from the past, left behind his wing. She knew well of her feelings for him and how they wouldn't change nor how she could end up someday waking up to his side and have him call her "love".
They once were good friends, that is until he became Master Assassin. He then became a little distant, saying he was "busy".
She pushed those thoughts away and left the library as she held onto her book tightly, making her way to whom had requested it on the rooftops. Walking down the hall, she couldn't help but wonder...what would it have been like to kiss those lips.
Those perfect lips...
"Damn it, no..." She muttered.
Could she ever go a minute without thinking of him?
Finally reaching the top of the stairs, she regained her breath, making herself look presentable before opening the chamber door, revealing none other than...
Altair.
She felt her cheeks grow warm, but quickly cleared her throat causing before speaking:
"Um...here's the book you wanted."
He hadn't turned around yet, just silently hummed.
She waited, lightly tapping her foot on the roof's tile whilst looking around for anything intriguing other than him.
"Do you know why I called you here?" He questioned out of the blue.
She gave him a puzzled expression.
"To hand you the book you asked me for, no?"
A small smile crossed his features, though she couldn't tell; his back still faced her.
That is until, he spun around and calmly made his way towards her. She looked up, meeting his gaze.
Altair wasn't just gazing in her orbs, no. He was admiring her beauty. Her beautiful hair, her eyes, lips, all that could possibly catch his interest.
"O-Oh, right...the book." He slightly stuttered, lowering his head as he reached a hand for it. "Thank you."
"Your welcome." She replied as she blushed from the touch of his hand.
Without a word, he slipped a note into her hand before she could keep it away.
"Good day."
That being said, she began taking her leave but before she could even turn, Altair held onto her hand as the other cupped her cheek and leaned in, gently pressing lips onto hers.
Much to her dislike, he pulled away before she could even wrap an arm around his neck and kiss him back, leaving her flushed as she watched him walk away.
"I'll be seeing you soon ( Name )." He called out.
She smiled, a hand on her heart as she processed what just happened. Which reminded her of the note.
"I love you."
End.

~When A Man Is Mysterious~
You groaned loudly. It was really for anyone to hear so you could chat with them. Hell, you would even take Halim, the doctor who first helped you, for company if it meant talking to someone. However he would probably just say you needed rest, as he brought your meals, then leave. It turns out that one day you were supposed to be restricted to, turned into several.
Occasionally, Nada would come visit. She didn't come often, but she was the only one who came more than once. You seemed to have befriended her. It was a first, for sure. Mainly since there weren't many women part of the creed to be friend

You’d been living on the Homestead for nearly a year and you had to admit, it was better than anything you’d ever dreamed of. The small community was enough to create a real atmosphere and a sense of togetherness, and with your job working as a barmaid in the tavern it allowed you to get to know the locals as soon as they arrived. You only ended up in the Homestead after being kicked from your job as a barmaid and home in the middle of New York; it was pure luck that Connor had been passing by when he saw your bags being thrown from the tavern window by your mother because you refused to marry a man you didn’t love, followed

“Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad!” I was walking by the bureau when I heard Malik scream from inside. Altaïr must be here!
I ran into the bureau see why Malik was screaming at him. Ink was splattered everywhere. The map Malik was working on was ruined. Malik looked like he was about to jump over the counter and kill Altaïr.
“What has happened here?” I said in a hushed, yet confused voice. The two men who looked like they were about to kill each other looked over at me.
“Ah, [Y/N], hello.” Malik said. “The Novice has spilled ink everywhere-“
“I am not a novice, Malik!” Altaïr i
